PreK Digital Technology Skills Curriculum Yearly Subscription

Description

21 PreK theme-based units that work on academic content while also practicing technology skills. These activities work in any browser on any device and are recommended for classrooms using laptop or desktop computers so students can practice mouse and/or trackpad skills.

Each unit includes:

• a web page with HTML5 activities, which means they work in any browser on any device (view the free content in the Apples unit at https://www.k5technologycurriculum.com/prek-tech-home/ to see how it all works and test to make sure it works on your devices).
• early finisher activities
• standards addressed

*This resource is set up differently than the K-5 Tech Lesson Plans and Activities. They aren’t “technology lessons” but rather PreK content lessons that work on tech skills. The goal by the end of the school year is that students will master the mouse, be familiar with the keyboard layout, and be able to navigate between web pages efficiently.

The download includes 15 pages in a PDF with instructions for the teacher, a sample lesson plan with standards addressed, 2 links to videos included to introduce students to the mouse and trackpad as well as 2 posters you can print and display in the classroom..

3. Teacher Facilitation: As the teacher, you continue to guide your students through their learning journey. Direct them to the specific lesson pages that align with your teaching plan, monitor their progress, and make note of their skills progress.
